Scharf replaces Fröhlich in German squad

Braunschweig defender picked up an injury on Thursday

Viola Scharf will replace Dinah Fröhlich in Team Germany at Women’s ERGO Hockey Junior World Cup Mönchengladbach 2013. The 20-year-old defender broke her toes when being hit by a ball on Thursday.

In Germany Fröhlich is playing club hockey for Eintracht Braunschweig. She will now be replaced by reserve-player Viola Scharf. The 21-year-old plays club hockey for TuS Lichterfelde Berlin.
