Officials confirmed for 2022 and 2023 FIH Women’s and Men’s World Cups

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has today confirmed the names of the officials – umpires, technical delegates, technical delegates assistants, technical officials, umpire managers and medical officers - who will be involved in the FIH Hockey Women's World Cup Spain & Netherlands 2022 and the FIH Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar & Rourkela.

The selection has been made by the FIH Officials Committee, chaired by Sheila Brown (South Africa). It includes some of the most experienced hockey officials, like international umpires Kelly Hudson (New Zealand, 150 caps) and Christian Blasch (Germany, 183 caps):

The FIH Hockey Women’s World Cup will be staged in Terrassa (Spain) and Amstelveen (Netherlands) from 1 to 17 July next year.

The FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup will be played in Bhubaneswar – in the Kalinga Stadium, which is currently playing host to the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup – and Rourkela, both cities being located in the State of Odisha, India, from 13 to 29 January 2023.

Both events involve 16 of the world’s best hockey nations.
