With qualification to the 2014 Hockey World Cup on the line at the World League Semi-Final tournaments, fans want to know how their team can make it to hockey's biggest event. With this simple guide, you can follow your favorite team's chances of going to The Hague and see who else will be in the mix. 

2014 Hockey World Cup Qualfication explained

In total, there will be 12 men's teams and 12 women's teams at the Hockey World Cup in The Hague. Host Netherlands is already guaranteed a spot as the host nation. Joining them will be the five continental champions and the top three finishers from each of the World League Semi-Final tournaments. But things can get more complex depending on who the Continental Champions are and who are the top three teams from the Semi-Finals, hence a this simple diagram that guides fans through all the scenarios.
