Coach Roggero names 18 player team ahead of Tucuman showpiece
Seven times World Player of the Year Luciana Aymar has been named in Argentina’s 18-player squad that will compete at the Hockey World League Final, which takes place in San Miguel de Tucuman later this month.
The legendary star heads a strong group which contains 14 members of the side that took the Silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games, including lively forward Carla Rebecchi and penalty corner ace Noel Barrionuevo. The full squad can be found below.
Las Leonas have been drawn into Pool B of the tournament, and will face in-form Australia, New Zealand and China ahead of the tournament quarter-finals. Pool A contains Olympic champions The Netherlands as well as England, Germany and Korea.
The tournament runs from 30 November until 8th December and will be streamed live on the FIH You Tube Channel. It promises to be an absolutely thrilling event – make sure you don’t miss it.
