Belgium announce line-up for ERGO Women’s Junior World Cup

Test series played against French senior team and England U21

Before heading to Mönchengladbach for ERGO Women’s Junior World Cup Belgium played test matches against the French senior women as well as England’s U21. The young Belgian squad were defeated in both matches against France, losing 2-1 in Brugge and 4-1 in Cambrai.

Afterwards the team travelled to Kent to play three matches against England’s U21 team. England defeated Belgium 5-2 and 3-0 in the first two encounters before Belgium fought back, winning the third game 2-1. Both teams have been drawn in Pool D at ERGO Women’s Junior World Cup in Mönchengladbach. While Belgium will take on host nation Germany on Saturday, England will face Spain.
