Ahead of this weekend's Rabo FIH Champions Trophy for women, we bring you a by the numbers preview which takes a look at some of the stats going into the event in Amsterdam. 

0 – New Zealand are the only team participating at the 2011 Rabo FIH Champions Trophy still chasing their first Champions Trophy medal.

1-The first edition of the Women's Champions Trophy, in 1987, was also held in Amstelveen.

2 - The Netherlands have won the Champions Trophies twice on home turf: 1987 and 2000 both in Amsterdam.

5 – Host nations have won the Champions Trophy on five occasions. Australia were the last to do so in 2003. 

5 – Luciana Aymar (ARG) chases a record equalling fifth Champions Trophy gold medal. So far only Australia's Rechelle Hawkes and Juliet Haslam have collected 5 CT titles.

6 – Amsterdam host the Women's Champions Trophy for a record sixth time: 1987, 1993, 2000, 2001, 2006 and 2011.

6 – The record number of editions won by Australia. The Netherlands can equal this record if they win the 2011 tournament.

8 – The biggest winning margin in a Women's Champions Trophy match. At Amstelveen 1987 Australia beat New Zealand 8-0.

9 – The highest number of goals scored in a Champions Trophy match: three matches have ended 8-1.

13 – Argentina's Luciana Aymar will participate in a Champions Trophy tournament for record breaking 13th time.

13 – The Netherlands have won a medal in 13 successive Champions Trophies. The last time the Dutch women failed to finish on the podium was in Mar del Plata in 1995 when they did not participate.

17 – At age 17, Florencia Habif (ARG) is the youngest player at the 2011 Champions Trophy.

19 - Noel Barrionuevo leads all 2011 Champions Trophy players on 19 CT career goals.

22 – Germany's Nadine Ernsting-Krienke is all-time Champions Trophy top scorer on 22 goals.

24 – Number of matches at 2011 Champions Trophy, the most ever in a single CT edition. 

35 – At age 35, England's Anna Bennett is the oldest player at the 2011 Champions Trophy.

72 – Argentina star Luciana Aymar has played a record 72 Women's Champions Trophy matches.

75 – Record for most goals scored in a single CT edition: Nottingham 2010.

100 – Australia and The Netherlands have played the most matches in Women's Champions Trophy history. They play each other in their 100th CT match on Saturday, June 25th. 

144 – A record 144 players will participate in this year's Champions Trophy tournament.

395 – Total number of penalty corner goals scored in Champions Trophy history.

580 – Total number of field goals scored in Champions Trophy history.

1027 – Total number of goals scored in all 18 previous Women's Champions Trophy editions.
