    Team Lists for all 24 Olympic Squads Announced

    384 Hockey players confirmed for London 2012 Games

    With two weeks to go until the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, all 24 teams have officially handed in their final team lists. The 384 athletes (and 48 reserves) and can now focus on their last-minute preparations for London. Germany is the defending Olympic Champion on the men's side, while the Dutch women will look to defend their 2008 Olympic gold.  x 11 More

    Belgium's Olympic squads announced

    Men's and Women's teams trimmed to 16

    Belgium became the latest Olympic team to trim its team list to the final 16 for the upcoming London 2012 Games. Both the men’s and women’s teams were announced by head coaches Pascal Kina (women’s) Colin Batch (men’s). Having both teams in the Olympics is a major boon for Belgium.   More

    Great Britain names men's Olympic team

    Final cut to 16 a key moment for host nation

    The British Olympic Association (BOA) has announced today the 16 players who will represent Team GB in men’s hockey at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The team has risen consistently up the world rankings since the Olympic Games were awarded to London back in 2005. At the time, they were ranked 11th in the world and now hold the fourth spot.   More
