    Kerry named Head Coach of England & GB women

    Danny's 'interim position' extended through to Rio 2016 Olympics

    Danny Kerry has been appointed as Head Coach for the England and Great Britain Women’s Hockey programme through to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016. Kerry was previously Head Coach of the programme that culminated in the team’s first Olympic medal in 20 years at the London 2012 Games.  x 3 More

    Hockey pitches are springing up all over the world, but each installation provides its own unique challenges, says the general manager of one manufacturer.

    What you require of a hockey pitch depends upon your viewpoint: as a player you will want a pitch that runs fast and true, allowing you to play the best hockey you possibly can. A club administrator will want those qualities, but at a reasonable price and with a long life-span; the groundsman will want an easy maintenance pitch with low irrigation requirements.  x 123 More
