    Belgium became the first men’s team at the Rabobank Hockey World League tournament to qualify for the semi-final game after they out-powered Ireland in a goal-filled 6-3 victory.     Netherlands to meet New Zealand; Korea to play Germany

    The semi-final picture is complete at the Rabo Bank World Hockey League tournament in Rotterdam. World #1 and host Netherlands will meet New Zealand in the semi-final game after earning a clear 8-1 win over India in today’s quarterfinal match-up.     Koreans will meet Germany in Semi-Final Duel

    Korea played a solid game of hockey today against Belgium and was rewarded with a spot in Thursday’s semi-final game against Germany at the Rabobank Hockey World League tournament. Korea went down early, but rebounded quickly to win the quarterfinal meeting, 2-1.Korea, ranked #8 in the FIH World Ranking will take on fifth-ranked Germany.  x 2   More

    A close call for Germany in WL quarterfinal

    Semi-Final awaits Germans after 2-0 win against Chile

    Germany had its hands much fuller than expected in its quarterfinal meeting against 18th-ranked Chile. It wasn’t until Marie Mavers put in a sliding penalty corner goal with three minutes left in the game that the Germans could breathe a sigh of relief and celebrate their 2-0 win and berth into the semi-final game.   More

    New Zealand first team into WL Semi-Final Game

    3-1 win against Japan seals spot for Black Sticks

    New Zealand became the first team to earn a berth in the Semi-Finals at the Rabobank Hockey World League Semi-Finals with a too-close-for-comfort 3-1 win against Japan. The Japanese proved to be a tough opponent, playing hard for the entire 70 minutes, but ultimately, New Zealand’s determination won out in the battle.   More

    Chief Executive flattered by being named in Queen's Honours list

    ENGLAND: We’re delighted to announce that England Hockey’s Chief Executive Sally Munday has been awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for services to hockey in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list announced on Friday.     It was clear that the final day of Group B action at the Rabobank Hockey World League Semi-Final would be a dog fight with the four teams all separated by only three points. New Zealand and India kicked off the grand finale with a hard fought 3-3 draw and the Netherlands 5-0 win against Ireland cleared the picture up and gave the host nation the top spot coming out of the group.  x 2 More

    Belgium needed just one point from today’s game against Spain to earn first place in Group A at the Rabobank Hockey World League Semi-Final, and they got just that with a nail-biting 1-1 draw against Spain. Australia finished in second place in the group after Jamie Dwyer scored a sensational five goals in his team's 7-1 win against France.  x 2 More
