    Hockeyroos ace Ashleigh Nelson netted Australia’s vital third goal in a 3-2 win over World Champions Argentina in the second of three Tests in Perth on Monday evening. The 26-year-old West Australian’s goal earned the Hockeyroos their first win over Argentina since April 2011, when she again was the winning scorer in a 1-0 win in Sydney.  x 2 More

    Barrionuevo goal gives Argentina a 1-0 win over Australia in Perth

    Australia’s Hockeyroos went down narrowly 1-0 to World Champions Argentina in the first of three test matches in Perth on Saturday evening. In a competitive clash that featured seven-times World Player of the Year Luciana Aymar, it was a 43rd minute penalty corner from set piece specialist Noel Barrionuevo that made the difference.  x 2 More
