The Czech Hockey Federation hosted the biennial women's EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championships in Prague last weekend. Some twenty matches were played over the three day competition, including a superb final between the hosts and a very assured Polish team. More

Belgium earned a place in the Hockey World League Semi-Finals after earning a nail-biting 1-0 victory against Azerbaijan in the all-deciding game for the second qualification spot. The top two finishers from the Hockey World League Round 2 tournament in Cape Town, South Africa move onto the next phase and with the South Africans clinching their spot yesterday, the pressure was on Belgium to perform today against Azerbaijan. South Africa earned the first ticket to the Hockey World League Semi-Final through the Round 2 process after earning a 7-0 win against Azerbaijan in today’s action from Cape Town. It was the Stephanie De Groof show in the early game between Belgium and Ghana. The strong drag flicker put in an amazing four penalty corner goals in Belgium’s 7-0 victory against Ghana. The second qualification spot comes down to tomorrow's game between the Belgians and Azerbaijan. More

Pietie Coetzee proved to be more than Belgium could handle as her three penalty corner goals lifted South Africa to a 3-2 win in a key meeting in the Hockey World League Round 2 tournament in Cape Town. In the early game, Austria earned bragging rights in the bottom half of the table after earning their first win of the tournament with a 2-1 decision over Ghana. More
