Melbourne, Australia will host the 34th Men's Champions Trophy this year from December 1-9, at the State Netball and Hockey Centre. It will be the first top level international event after the Olympics and the FIH's premiere event is set to sizzle with tickets expected to race out the door. The European Hockey Federation today announced that Angus Kirkland has been appointed as Director General. He will begin in October 2012, taking over for R. David Balbirnie who stepped down in March. Kirkland joins the EHF from the Irish Hockey Association, where he was CEO for the past four years. More
