Among the highlights of the team list are the Villa brothers: Rodrigo, Luke and Matthew, the captain of the Argentine team. The semi-finals are set at the Investec cup after Preliminary round action wrapped up on Thursday in London. In the first semi-final, World #1 Netherlands will take on South Africa. Meanwhile the second semi-final will feature Germany against Australia. Left out of the top four are host Great Britain and neighboring Ireland. More

There were wins for Australia and Germany on day two of the Investec London Cup, results that mean Great Britain and Ireland have big matches on Thursday against Germany and the Netherlands. Austrlalia had no problem topping Ireland, 4-1, while Germany had to dig deep for a 1-0 victory against a dangerous South African side. More

South Africa’s Olympic governing body SASCOC announced it's entire Olympic athlete roster, including the 16 men's and 16 women's players that will participate in the hockey tournament.
