It was a festival of goals today as the Men's Olympic Qualifier in Japan resumed. The South Africans and Czechs combined for eight goals in a 6-2 win for South Africa. The two top seeds at the Women's Olympic Qualification Tournament are unbeaten in their first two games. Azerbaijan had a second half rally to top Belarus, 3-0, while Japan dominated Malaysia, 8-0. In the late game, Chile earned its first win of the event, topping Austria 3-0. More

China and Austria have certainly played under all conditions -- and it was only their first game of the Olympic Qualification Tournament. After yesterday's game had to be suspended due to heavy rain, today the teams played the second half under sunny skies and balmy temperatures. More

Japan kicked off the 2012 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Kakamigahara in grand style this morning with an opening ceremony to welcome all the participants in the event.
