  Day 3 in Rosario started with Netherlands taking a 4-1 win over Japan to claim top spot in Pool A. Despite defeating China 3-1, Great Britain finished in second place on goal difference. Germany surprised by winning Pool B after beating New Zealand 3-1 while Argentina had to settle for 2nd place in their pool after a 2-2 draw with Korea. The World Champions face China in Thursday’s Quarter Final, while Netherlands play New Zealand, Germany face Japan and Great Britain meet Korea.  x 2  x 4 More

  The Netherlands gave away a 2-0 lead against Great Britain who fought back thanks to Crista Cullen's double-strike. Both teams are now on four points in pool A of the Argentina FIH Champions Trophy held in Rosario. Day 2 got underway with China's 2-1 victory over Japan.   The SA Hockey Association Friday named the Investec South Africa women’s hockey team to play in the Olympic Qualifier Tournament in Delhi, India from February 18 to 26.
