Australia and The Netherlands were the respective winners of Pools A and B after a sensational day of action at the Owen G Glenn FIH Champions Trophy. The Netherlands won Pool B thanks to a 3-3 draw with host nation New Zealand, a result which sealed a place in Pool C for the Black Sticks. New Zealand fought back from 3-0 down to tie the scores, putting them in the Championship Pool ahead of Germany. More

Following Sunday's washout, the delayed second day of action at the Owen G Glenn FIH Champions Trophy in Auckland produced some truly top class hockey, with reigning champions Australia and The Netherlands in outstanding form. Pool A leaders Australia stormed to a 4-1 win over Great Britain while the Dutch defeated perennial rivals Germany to top Pool B. An ecstatic Belgium side celebrated a dramatic last-gasp victory over eight-times Olympic champions India in the final of the FIH Champions Challenge 1 in Johannesburg and are set to make their first ever appearance in the Champions Trophy. Due to heavy rain in Auckland and an unplayable pitch, all matches on Sunday 4th December have been rescheduled to Monday 5th December. As a consequence of the new match schedule on the 5th of December, some matches on Tuesday 6th December have also been rescheduled. x 14 More

The final game is set at the Champions Challenge 1 in Johannesburg after a thrilling day of semi-final action. Belgium overcame adversity in a nail biting shootout to overcome Argentina on the final shooter.
