  Argentina men have qualified for the London 2012 Olympics following a 3-1 victory over Canada in the final of the Pan American Games, which has been taking place in Guadalajara, Mexico. It was the 10th consecutive time the two squads had met in the Pan Am Games final.  x 7 More

  USA women secure their place in London

  In a surprise upset, the USA women overcame the mighty Leonas to crown themselves Continental Champions and secure a place in London next year. Chile cruised past Canada for the bronze medal, Cuba edged Mexico for their best finish since 1999, and Trinidad&Tobago defeated Barbados for 7th place.  x 11 More

  Canada & Argentina to meet once again in men's final

  Reigning champions Canada will once again have to defeat Argentina if they are to win Gold in the Men's hockey competition at the Pan American Games. Canada overcame a strong challenge from Cuba to reach the final with a 3-2 victory, while Argentina crushed Chile 7-1 to let the world know that they are determined to win the Pan Am title this time around.  x 8 More

  Canada men finished Pool play at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara with a 100 per cent win record following their third their third victory of the competition. A 10-0 win against Barbados confirmed that they topped Pool A, setting up a Semi Final meeting with Chile, runners up in Pool B. The second Semi Final will be contested between Argentina and Chile.  x 6 More
