    Opening Day of the EuroHockey Championships had no surprises

    In the women's tournament, all teams came into action, and all matches produced shut-outs, as Spain handed a 4-0 defeat to Italy, the Dutch inflicted an 8-0 victory on Azerbaijan, Germany moved past Ireland and England overcame Belgium. On the men's side, Germany defeated Belgium 3-1, and and the Spanish men cruised past Russia. More

    Euro Hockey League announces full draw for Rounds 1.1 & 1.2

    The Euro Hockey League and the European Hockey Federation are delighted to announce the draw and venues for Rounds 1.1 and 1.2 of the forthcoming 2011-2012 season. German newcomers HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim and Belgian champions KHC Dragons will host their first ever Euro Hockey League tournaments when the hugely successful and pioneering club competition enters its fifth season later this year.
