The international men's teams from New Zealand, Korea, Belgium and England played their first matches on Tuesday as the four nation London Cup event got underway in Chiswick. The Black Sticks defeated Korea before Belgium overcame a 2-0 deficit to inflict defeat on reigning European Champions and tournament hosts England. More

England have made two changes to the squad for The London Cup this week in Chiswick. Surbiton’s Richard Alexander and East Grinstead’s Mark Pearn have been called up to replace Old Loughtonians’ Harry Martin and Surbiton’s Matt Daly, both of whom have been withdrawn on fitness grounds. More

France and Ireland will reprise last Sunday’s battle royale as they won their way through to the final of the FIH Champions Challenge II this afternoon with victories over Scotland and Russia, respectively. Both games were goal-fests though the French were pushed all the way while the boys in green had a more comfortable path. More
