    China goalkeeper Zhang Yimeng saved a penalty stroke from Helen Richardson in the last ten minutes of the game to deny England victory in their final Pool A match here in Amstelveen. The match finished scoreless, with the penalty stroke being by far the biggest opportunity of breaking the deadlock in a match that contained limited goal-scoring opportunities. More

    Japan is the 2011 Electric Ireland FIH Champions Challenge 1 gold medalist after earning a come-from-behind 3-2 win against the United States. Ai Murukami was the key to victory. She scored on a second-half penalty stroke and sunk the gold medal-winning penalty corner shot with six minutes left in regulation. More
