One point separates the top five men's teams while C.D. Terrassa booked their finals berth in the women's competition after the latest round of the Spanish top division.

C.D. Terrassa extended its lead to an imposing seven points following the latest round of the women’s top division in Spain. C.D. Terrassa’s 2-1 win in the local derby against Atlétic de Terrassa ensured they will make the play-offs.

In other results, Real Sociedad and U.D. Taburiente continued their fight for a playoff positions with a pair of 4-1 victories against Club de Campo and Real Club Jolaseta respectively. Both teams remained in the top four following Junior FC’s upset 5-2 win over second place Real Club de Polo.

Only two points separate second from fifth spot with only a handful of matches remaining.

In the men’s competition, only one points separates the top five teams after previous league leaders Atlético San Sebastián crashed to a 4-0 defeat to Club Egara. Illustrating the closeness of the competition, Atlético San Sebastián dropped from first to fifth position after the chasing team all recorded comfortable victories.

Club de Campo’s 11-0 thrashing of bottom-placed Egara 1925 gave it top spot on goal difference ahead of Atlétic de Terrassa, who disposed of C.D. Terrassa in the local derby.

At the other end of the table, the only team outside of those in playoff contention to make an impression on the points table was U.D. Taburiente. Their 4-1 win over UCM2012 kept their slim finals hopes alive.
