The England under 21 men’s team will play at the 6 Nation Junior Men’s Invitational Tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 27 March-3 April against India, Pakistan, Korea, Germany and the host nation.
“The tournament provides us with a good opportunity to compare ourselves, both individually and as a team, against the other leading Nations as we prepare for the Junior World Cup in Holland at the end of June,” team leader Pete Nicholson said.
“India, Korea, Malaysia and Pakistan will give the squad the experience of playing against a different style of hockey, whilst Germany will provide a strong European style. By the end of the tournament England will have gained valuable knowledge in planning for the next phase of the JWC campaign.”
