Global office communications company Konica Minolta has been announced as a Premium Partner of the men’s BDO Hockey World Cup.

Carlo Baart, manager Corporate Communications & Strategic Alliance from Konica Minolta Europe, said his company considers hockey as one the most successful ball games and forms a pleasant and attractive environment for their sponsor activities and fits their image very well.

Konica Minolta, market leader in digital colour systems in Europe, will have a strong presence at the championship as official 'Premium Partner of the BDO Hockey World Cup Men 2006'.

Stephen Atanassoff, from the Cologne agency that represents the marketing and advertising rights of the World Cup 2006, is pleased to have Konica Minolta on board as Premium Partner and Presenter of the World Cup press centre, after their successful corporation during the European Hockey Championship in 2005.

In the coming weeks more companies are expected to be presented as World Cup Premium Partners.

The BDO Hockey World Cup will be held in Germany from 6-17 September 2006, in the new Warsteiner HockeyPark in Mönchengladbach.
