To celebrate the Sahara Hockey Champions Trophy in Chennai, Hotel Taj is hosting a photo festival titled “Glorious Moments of Indian Hockey – A walk down the memory lane”.
The exhibition was opened by former Australian women’s mentor Ric Charlesworth, Dutch coach Roelant Oltmans, Spanish coach Maurits Hendriks, and Indian captain Gagan Ajit Singh.
Curated by Sunil Yash Kalra, the exhibition features 30 action and lifestyle pictures of the game that made India proud in the Olympic arena in the past century.
The exhibition is divided into four phases – Dominance, Consolidate, Recreate, Innovate – to reflect the various periods of Indian hockey history.
The exhibition will be on display at Hotel Taj Corremandel until the end of the Champions Trophy.
