Six Kookaburras will take part in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Earthquake Benefit Match which will be held tonight in the lead up to the Sahara Champions Trophy in Chennai, India.

Australia's most capped players Brent Livermore, Bevan George, Jamie Dwyer, Dean Butler, Matthew Wells and Michael McCann will play for a combined WorldHockey XI versus a combined India-Pakistan XI, both sides with a squad of 22 players.

The match will be played over four 15 minute periods and will be televised live in Europe and Asia while Australian audiences can watch a replay of the match at 11pm on Tuesday 13 December on Fox Sports.

FIH has set up a special bank account to accept donations of any size with proceeds to go to those affected by the earthquake that struck parts of Pakistan and India in October.
