Despite there still being one round of matches left to play, the two teams that will feature in the final of the 3rd Sultan of Johor Cup are already known.

Malaysia and India have claimed four wins from four matches at the junior invitational tournament in Johor Bahru, enough to seal their places in Sunday’s showpiece with a game to spare.

India stormed into Sunday’s final with a crushing 6-1 win against Korea on Thursday, and were joined in the showpiece match by Malaysia, who continued their imperious form by claiming a superb 4-2 victory over Pakistan in a high quality encounter. Malaysian senior international Fitri Saari (pictured) was amongst the scorers.

The final set of round robin matches will be played on Saturday, with the classification and medal matches taking place on Sunday.
