USFHA: USA Field Hockey has named Tracy Wisdom as Director of Olympic and Sport Development Programs.

In her new position, Wisdom, 25, will direct all aspects of the Futures Program which serves as the initial step in USA Field Hockey’s Olympic development pipeline. The Futures Program annually admits 5,000 athletes between the ages of 12–19 who have been identified as potential or “future” Olympic-level athletes. Additionally, she will oversee activities in USA Field Hockey’s sport development program including grassroots development and club-level competition.

“I am impressed with the leadership and direction of USA Field Hockey, and I’m very excited to be part of the team,” Wisdom said.

Prior to joining the USA Field Hockey staff, Wisdom worked with the Center for Human Enrichment at the Univ. of Northern Colorado where she advised and counseled first generation undergraduate students while conducting research, planning programs and coordinating special events.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Tracy join us at USA Field Hockey,” said Assistant Executive Director for Olympic and Sport Development Laura Darling. “She brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and excitement to our programs as well as the skill sets necessary to further advance the development of athletes in programs at every level.”
