WorldHockey Umpiring Boost Update

The WorldHockey Umpiring Boost was launched at the FIH Congress in Leipzig in November 2004.

So far, more than 70 national associations have signed up for the Boost. It is not too late to join in, and NAs who have not yet replied are invited to fill in the application form and participate in the project.

The WHUB Handbook contains:

• FIH Recommendations and Guidelines for a National Umpiring Structure, including Umpires and Umpire Coaches Education and Accreditation Schemes. Templates and supporting resources, including suggested course programmes and contents, are also supplied
