LHF: The Lithuania Hockey Federation will host the 19th European Hockey Federation General Assembly this Saturday.
FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman will be attendance together with a number of sports dignitaries from Lithuania.
Together with the formal agenda delegates will receive reports from Competitions, Development, and Marketing committees together with presentations from EHF Partners AstroTurf/Lano Sports, Musco Lighting and nhHotels.
EHF Executive Board, Competitions and Development committees will also meet in Vilnius.
"It's a big honour for Lithuanian Hockey Federation to host the 19th EHF General Assembly,“ LHF president Leonardas Caikauskas said.
"We are ready for the event and hope that everything will go well. This event also will help to rise the popularity of hockey in Lithuania".
On Wednesday, EHF Hon. Secretary General David Balbirnie visited the LNOC headquarters. The Lithuanian NOC President Arturas Poviliunas awarded him the “Olympic Star” of the National Olympic Committee in recognition of his commitment in promoting hockey throughout the Europe and for his valuable services to the Lithuanian Hockey development over the years.
