The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, continued to give hockey a place in the spotlight when she returned to her former Prep School and delighted the students by showing her hockey skills, despite not having any athletic kit on hand.
Middleton, who was a regular at the 2012 Olympic hockey tournament, was followed by dozens of reporters on her visit to her former school and the headlines following the visit all focused on her hockey skills.
She attended St. Andrew's in Pangbourne, Berkshire from 1986-1995 and was on hand to unveil a palque to open a new turf pitch. She joined in the game wearing an Alexander McQueen dress and high-heeled boots.
