FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman has today passed on her deepest sympathies to the governing bodies of Pakistan and Indian hockey over Saturday’s devastating earthquake.
“On behalf of the International Hockey Federation, I pass on my sincere condolences after the tragedy that occurred over the weekend,” Mrs van Breda Vriesman said.
“Our thoughts are with both countries as they mourn the many thousands of innocent lives lost in this appalling natural disaster.”
“I am sure that both countries will respond with resilience and determination.”
