While Marc Lammers gave his first Red Lions Training this morning in facilities Braxgata (after physical tests performed with TopSportLab), he also announced the list of 19 players who are selected for the Champions Trophy, which will be held Melbourne from 1 st December. As expected, several young players will get their chances in a major international tournament as Arthur Van Doren , Alexander Hendrickx , Amaury Keusters or Sébastien Dockier . The new Dutch coach will still remove a name in Australia to bring his selection to 18 to begin the competition.
In this list, we do not find Jerome Dekeyser , nor Renaud Pangrazio or Gilles Verdussen nor Florent Van Aubel (always revalidation) who had been held at the end of September to be part of the core of the Lions to begin preparation for the tournament.

With less than a month to go until the Hockey Champions Trophy in Melbourne, Australia, another team unveiled its team list for the event with the Belgium men cutting the squad to 19 players.

Head Coach Marc Lammers held his first practice with the team today and used the occassion to name the 19 players that made the cut.  As expected, several young players will get their first chance in a major international tournament such as Arthur Van Doren , Alexander Hendrickx , Amaury Keusters and Sébastien Dockier. The newly appointed Dutch tactician still needs to cut one more player  to bring his selection to 18.

Left off the team are Jerome Dekeyser, Renaud Pangrazio, Gilles Verdussen and Florent Van Aubel who had been part of the core of the Red Lions. The 19 players that made the list are:
