The sponsorship will also allow the SUBWAY chain to reach Scottish hockey players and their supporters with advertising presence in match programmes as well as via local marketing. The SUBWAY chain will also provide discount cards to all Scottish Hockey members for use in all stores throughout
The sponsorship money will be used to support grassroots activities in hockey across the country.

“The SUBWAY brand is a great fit with the healthy lifestyle we are trying to promote to our members and we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with the SUBWAY chain."
"The SUBWAY chain encourages people to be active, eat healthy and have fun doing it. Sponsoring the National Hockey League is very much in line with the SUBWAY chain’s commitment towards promoting healthier lifestyles,” Wahid Sadiq, SUBWAY Development Agent for West of Scotland, said.
