The visual coverage of the Owen G Glenn FIH Men’s Champions Trophy has been given an extra boost by the news that LIVEFIH.TV will begin its Video on Demand (VoD) service earlier than originally announced.
From Tuesday 6th December, subscribers to LIVEFIH.TV will be able to enjoy the benefits of the VoD service, meaning that they can watch matches in full at any time they choose. The move will be particularly beneficial to supporters of the four competing teams from Europe, as many of the matches will be taking place in the middle of the night.
In terms of Live Streaming, LIVEFIH.TV will transmit all 24 matches from the event, with three minute highlight videos also being made available in the hours following the completion of each game. The live streaming service is designed to complement the extensive television coverage that event will receive, giving people outside existing contracted broadcasting territories* the opportunity to see action from this showpiece competition.
LIVEFIH.TV was created by the Perform Group in partnership with the FIH. It is an official online broadcaster for the hockey's world governing body, meaning that viewers can be confident of enjoying high quality streaming, reliable content and match commentary. More information about the service can be found at LIVEFIH.TV.
* Due to licensing and contractual restrictions, access to LIVEFIH.TV may be limited in some territories.
