After an eight- year partnership the FIH and TK Hockey Equipment have announced that they will not renew their contract after December 31, 2011.

TK Hockey Equipment supplied the official clothing for all of FIH’s World level events including World Cups, Olympic Games, World Cup and Olympic Qualifiers, Champions Trophies, Champions Challenges, Junior and Indoor World Cups. TK Hockey Equipment indicated that, having re-evaluated their promotional activities, they  wished to move in a different strategic direction.

“It’s been said that all good things come to an end,” said FIH CEO Kelly Fairweather. “And I feel that this is true of our long partnership with TK Hockey Equipment. I hold the company and its leadership in high esteem and will miss the collaboration.”

TK Hockey Equipment was the official clothing supplier for FIH Tournament Officials, both on and off the pitch, providing rain suits, tracksuits, sweatshirts, shorts, leisure and umpiring shirts as well as ball persons clothing.

"It has been an honor and a pleasure to have worked with FIH for the past eight years.  It is never easy ending such a relationship, especially a long standing one, but we feel that the time is right for both parties.  We have a lot planned to coincide with the launch of our new 2012 collection, so this is where we have chosen to focus our attention for now, but we wish everyone at FIH the very best for the future"

The FIH will shortly announce its new merchandise partner after it concluded the tender process at the start of the month.
