The Netherlands has named it’s men’s and women’s squads that will play at the European Championship in Monchengladbach, Germany August 20-28.
The women’s team, which most recently won the 2011 Rabo FIH Champions Trophy at home in Amsterdam  was bolstered by the addition of Naomi van As, who is expected to be healed from her ankle injury in time for the event. 
On the men’s side the biggest question was surrounding the goalkeepers. Jaap Stockmann got the nod from coach Paul van Ass as the first goalkeeper to play.  Pirmin Blaak will be the second goalkeeper at the European Championships.
