What is Twitter?
To put it in simple terms, Twitter is a website that allows you to tell the world what you're doing right now. Not like a blog where you would write endless paragraphs. Twitter is fast and efficient. You get 140 characters which is enough for one sentence.
How do we use it?
We use twitter as a means of letting people know about the latest stories on www.fih.ch, the official website of the International Hockey Federation.
How do you get it?
If you haven't got twitter already, it couldn't be easier to get it. Simply go to the Twitter homepage – http://www.twitter.com – and sign up for a free account. It's fast and easy to do and once signed up you can follow as many other Tweeters as you want. Apart from FIH, you can follow the latest news from Continental and National Federations as well as many of the world's leading teams and their star players.
Twitter RSS Feed
If you do not want to sign up to twitter but are keen on following the latest bulletins, you can do so via our twitter RSS Feed. All you need to do is download an RSS Reader (such as FeedReader or SharpReader) then subscribe by clicking here.
