After the victory in the Champions Trophy which was held in Sydney in July, the Argentine women's national team will resume its international activity with a series of test matches against Australia, which will be played in the Mendoza province from 10 to 16 October 2009, and for which Carlos Retegui has nominated the players named below. Within the series, the Argentine men's team will play two friendly matches with Chile on 14 and 16 October.
After winning the Champions Trophy, the women's national team does not have international tournaments set up for the rest of the year, and so, to maintain the international rhythm and with the higher goal set on the upcoming 2010 World Cup in Rosario, the national team welcomes the visit of the Australian team to measure themselves against them in a five match series.
