Argentina who were due to make the trip to Ireland to compete in a triple header against Ireland’s Senior Men’s Hockey team on the 28th, 30th September and the 1st October in Dublin have now confirmed that they are not in a position to make the trip and will have to pull out of the series.
Coach Paul Revington had already named his squads for the Argentinean Series as well as for his upcoming French double header in France (23rd / 24th Sept) and triple header against the Scottish (2nd, 3rd, 4th October) in Banbridge. In light of the cancelled Argentinean series, Revington will now re select his squad for the Scottish series, but the squads for the French series will remain unchanged. Revington is expected to re announce the squad later next week.
