England and Australia are very close to a place in the semifinals of the BDO Junior World Cup in Boston, USA: England defeated host USA 3-2, while Australia was stronger than Korea (4-2).
Australia surprised defending Champions Korea in the Pool E clash. The Korean team didn’t lose a match so far. The 4-2 victory brought the Jillaroos to the second position of the pool, while Korea dropped down to place three.
England took the lead in this pool and is one point away from a place in the Final Four. The English team defeated host USA 3-2. In the other Pool E match, India defeated Chile 3-1.
In the last Pool E matches (Tuesday), England will meet Australia, while Korea will face India. These matches will decide which team will go through to the semifinals.
