The International Hockey Federation (FIH) would like to announce that the team manager of the team in question has confirmed that a player of his team had been taken in at a hospital in Johor Bahru and held overnight for observation.
The player has now been officially declared cleared and has been discharged from the hospital.
During the remainder of the Standard Chartered Bank FIH Men’s Junior World Cup, only official FIH Press Releases issued by the FIH and signed by the Tournament Director Björn Isberg can be treated by the media as official information.
