The first day of play at the Men’s Asia Cup in Kuantan, Malaysia was a day of surprises, with only Japan winning its match.

Pakistan was not able to win against China (1-1), while Malaysia tied with Korea (1-1). In other first day action, Japan defeated Bangladesh 5-0.

In Sunday’s action, India will play its first match when the tournament favorite will face Pakistan.
