FIH President Leandro Negre will travel to India next week. The FIH President will meet with important Indian sports and hockey authorities and will get a progress update on the 2010 FIH World Cup, which will be played in New Delhi from 7-20 March 2010. It is the first official visit of Negre as the FIH President to India.
‘I am looking forward to see with my own eyes how the preparations for the FIH World Cup are going’, Negre stated. ‘I am sure I will come back with positive results from this trip.’
On the top of the agenda of Negre’s trip to India are the visit to the stadium and the security planning process of FIH’s major event.
