The Sports Institute Northern Ireland invites applications for the following post.
High Performance Manager: Hockey (Ref: S04/011)
The purpose of the post is to deliver key aspects of the Ulster Branches of the Irish Hockey Association’s High Performance Plan or amendments to it as communicated through the Management Advisory Group. The postholder will be responsible for providing a high performance planning and coaching role to the SINI hockey squads and to the Ulster Branches IHA to ensure that high performance players are identified and developed. The successful applicant will work as part of a high performance management group to ensure services are planned and assessed by athletes.
The successful candidate must have:
· An internationally recognised coaching qualification in hockey
· Proven coaching experience with hockey players at high performance level
· Demonstrable experience of managing human and physical resources
· Proven experience of the needs of high performance athletes and coaches
Salary: £30,604 – £36,464
