England made amends for a poor showing in Saturday’s opening match as James Tindall and Matt Daly scored doubles in a solid 5-0 victory over Canada at Bisham Abbey.

After slumping to a 2-1 loss in match one, England Men scored early to open a healthy advantage with Tindall and Dalyconverting within 12 minutes.

Two more goals midway through the second half and another to Daly in the final minutes completed a controlled effort from the home team.

Manager Peter Nicholson said that it was a much-improved performance which England dominated for long periods and played with good intensity throughout.

England lost Matt Lee early in the second half and had to reshuffle the defence but were able to maintain their structure and level the four-match series ahead of the next clash at Reading.
