The All China Games Champions, Guangdong defeated Hong Kong's Shaheen club 2-1, at Kings Park on Sunday night, to take their second consecutive South China Premier League title. 

Guangdong scored first through Luk Fungfai, after Shaheen had missed a penalty stroke after 10 minutes. Guangdong went into half-time at 1-0. 

Alfonzo Cordero levelled the scores early into the second half, and Shaheen mounted endless pressure on the top Chinese side. Shaheen continued to have numerous chances, but failed to take the advantage, with poor finishing let them down. 

Guangdong scored late, and took their second in the two-year old regional league. 

Earlier HKFC B secured the First Division title, with a 4-1 win over the Dutch Club, which means that their will be no promotion or relegation between Premier and First Division, this season.
