The International Hockey Federation (FIH) is pleased to announce the nominated players for the 2007 Men’s WorldHockey Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year. All players participating in the Samsung Champions Trophy in Kuala Lumpur at this moment will have their chance to vote for the best hockey players of 2007.

The awarding ceremony for both the Women’s and Men’s Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year will take place on Saturday 8 December on the occasion of the Samsung Champions Trophy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Last year, Teun de Nooijer (NED) and Christopher Zeller (GER) won the WorldHockey Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year title.
