The Irish Hockey Association today unveiled Howard Holdings as a new sponsor of Irish hockey. The leading Irish property development firm, with over €700m worth of property under development, was voted Business of the Year in Cork last year.
The IHA made the announcement in Cork today as part of a regional launch of Irish hockey’s new branding and ambitious plans. The Association also announced the hosting of the All-Ireland Club Championships in Cork between 30 April - 2 May this year, at Garryduff Sports Centre’s new hockey facility. This is the first time the event has been held outside of Dublin.
As part of its sponsorship, Howard Holdings will be the title sponsor for this year’s event.
“We are delighted to welcome Howard Holdings as a sponsor of Irish hockey and are particularly pleased with the company’s decision to support the All-Ireland Club Championships in Cork,” IHA Chief Executive, Paul Varian said.
