The women’s team of Netherlands nailed Germany 3-1 in an ‘international friendly’ in Laren, Netherlands on Tuesday. The clash between the World Champion and its neighbor was the celebration of the 235th international match of Minke Smabers, who became Dutch record holder.

It was Germany that opened the score, when Anke Kuhn put the 0-1 on the score board in the fourth minute. Netherlands finally started to play better after twenty minutes of play. Janneke Schopman equaled the match in the 28th minute. In the second half, Netherlands was by far the best team, with Kim Lammers and Eefke Mulder scoring the 2-1 and 3-1.
